Senior Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Ologie
Bill Faust is the Senior Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Ologie, a nationally recognized branding and marketing agency focused on clients serving the greater good. In this capacity Bill works primarily with colleges, universities and national non-profits to help them uncover market insights, evolve their brands and tell their stories. With a unique background in design and business management, he spends most of his time developing strategies that positively impact reputation, fundraising and recruiting. He has worked with a wide range of clients including Virginia Tech, Harvard, Northwestern, Penn, Grinnell College, Purdue University, Pratt Institute, Interlochen Academy for the Arts and the National Air and Space Museum.
Prior to joining Ologie, Bill spent 12 years at global branding and design agency Fitch Worldwide, his last as North American CEO where he oversaw more than 300 consultants in offices from Boston to Seattle. Early in his career, he held marketing roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Eastman Kodak Company.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in design from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Business Administration from The Fisher College of Business. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and served for three years on the national planning committee for AMA HigherEd – the largest symposium of education marketers in the world. He has presented at CASE, The Design Management Institute and AMA Higher Ed among other industry forums as has been quoted in Adweek, Inside HigherEd and The Wall Street Journal. He serves on the Alumni Board for the OSU Design Department and has taught as an adjunct professor for design at Syracuse University and business management at Capital University.
Bill is currently on the board of trustees for ProMusica Chamber Orchestra and previously served as a trustee for the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus where he was also board chair.
